| Descrizione sintetica in italiano | the research purpose is to retrace the evolution of art markets in Western tradition by means of an interdisciplinary approach focussing both on gradual change and long persistence in their institutional structure, as well as in their social and economic paradigms. Aim of this project is hence to analyse the development and transfer of artistic forms, idioms and techniques over the centuries, allowing terms of comparison even to contemporary art. Following a perspective that merges cultural, social and economic examinations, this research should reach a new interpretation of relevant episodes, as well as of long lasting periods in the history of Western art. |

In order to participate in the selection procedure, the candidate must submit an application with all the required documents in accordance with the Regulations on research fellowship awarding. A Selection Committee is purposely set up, appointed in accordance with the regulations. Following the definition of evaluation criteria, the committee will make an interview having regard to assess the candidates' skills and expertise. |
