| Descrizione sintetica in italiano | The aim of this research is to estimate the economic impact of tourist flows to Sardinia, with a specific focus on flows activated by cultural heritage and environment-motivated trips. The analysis, performed according to different tourist profiles (identified on the basis of nationality, amount of expenditure, average length of stay, accommodation type, transport mode), will allow us to rigorously assess the potential economic effects on the productive system of the Sardinian territory and to formulate specific policy recommendations. The main tasks of the successful candidate are: critical assessment of the theoretical and empirical literature, empirical analysis to be carried out mainly within the framework of the micro-econometrics approach; writing of scientific reports and articles. |
