Descrizione sintetica in italiano The objective of this research is to identify what are the relationships and the interdependencies between income distribution and financial crisis, in the context of the current political economy paradigm known as “financial capitalism” which most of advanced economies embarked in the last 2-3 decades. In the age of financial capitalism, and at least since 1980, along with the financialization of the economy, and the process of globalization, also inequality increased and labour markets became much more flexibles, in particular in industrialized countries.
