Descrizione sintetica in italiano Anti-HIV drug resistance still represents a threat to the effective use of HIV therapy in the developed and resource-poor regions of the world. Although the availability of triple-regimens has dramatically reduced HIV-related mortality and morbidity, we have seen an emergence of HIV resistance in patients receiving Highly Active Anti-Retroviral Therapy (HAART), associated with increasing rates in disease progression.
