| Descrizione sintetica in italiano | First of all an accurate analysis trough a deep study of the state of the art concerning the geodetic monitoring in the field of on-shore and off-shore O&G industry will be performed using most recent scientific publications in the field of land monitoring. The evaluation, in term of precision and costs of existing experience in Europe and around the World trough scientific publications and available technical reports. Contextualization of the land monitoring problem both in term of magnitude and typology of the expected movements. Study of the optimum and stable Geodetic Reference Systems and Reference Frames useful for on-shore and off-shore monitoring. Analysis of the performance of all the available sensors and techniques potentially useful for this kind of monitoring (including also GNSS and SAR). Evaluation of a conceptual scheme that permit a real time (or quasi-real time) geodetic monitoring. |
| Descrizione sintetica in inglese | The research would like to focus and study methods, geodetic instrumentations and techniques for surface deformation phenomena detection due to human activities and related to the Oil&Gas activities. In particular will be evaluate, both in terms of expected accuracies and applicability the current classical geodetic survey methods, GNSS and the contribution of the Synthetic Aperture Radar technique in this context. |
