Descrizione sintetica in italiano | The research fellow will deepen the knowledge of low cost GNSS receivers for the purposes and activities defined in the Infrasafe project’s objectives OR2 and OR4. After a careful study of the relevant GNSS software packages useful for this contest, the resource will carry out experimental tests, with the aim to point out the minimum detectable movements changing the observation window time. In particular will be evaluated the obtained results starting from 1Hz rate to 24hrs. Will be considered several windows observation time and respectively of 1 second, 1-2-3-6-12 and 24 hrs. Starting from the obtained result a second activity will be performed in order to have a cross-check of the results. In this phase some calibrated movements will be applied to a XYZ sledge. This phase will be the starting point for setting the system that will be installed in to the test field that will be a bridge close to Ostiglia. The grant holder will periodically expose the achievements to his tutor. |
Descrizione sintetica in inglese | This research grant is funded under the POR-FESR INFRASAFE project -Intelligent monitoring for secure infrastructures, which aims developing a multidisciplinary platform for supplying technology and know-how to companies, suitable for monitoring and management of hydraulic infrastructures and risks related to them . Research activities will be carried out within project’s objectives OR2- Development of a low cost GNSS monitoring system- and OR4 - On-site validations. The resource will handle activities regarding the evaluation of the minimum movement detection using Low cost GNSS receivers. In particular the research will be performed using a particular Low Cost GNSS receiver previously identified during the first research phase. Research activities will mainly have experimental character and will be carried out both in the laboratory and on site. In addition, the research will participate in activities of results’ dissemination and periodic reporting, as required in the project. |
