| Descrizione sintetica in italiano | La profilassi antiemorragica è la terapia standard per la cura dei pazienti affetti da emofilia A e B. La profilassi primaria è instaurata prima del verificarsi del danno articolare ed ha lo scopo di prevenire le emorragie articolari e preservare lo stato articolare. Obiettivo primario di questo progetto è l’ottimale gestione del paziente emofilico in profilassi che consiste nella corretta attuazione delle linee guida internazionali riguardanti l’approccio terapeutico, ma anche nell’incentivazione di tutti gli strumenti utili al supporto del paziente e della famiglia nell’ambito della gestione della profilassi stessa. |
| Descrizione sintetica in inglese | Prophylaxis against bleeding is the standard therapy for the treatment of patients with hemophilia A and B. The primary prophylaxis has been established before the onset of joint damage and is designed to prevent joint bleeding and preserve the joint state. The primary objective of this project is the optimal management of haemophilic patients undergoing prophylactic treatment. The results of the study, therefore, should help in the proper implementation of international guidelines for treatment and in promoting the correct use of all the tools available for the support of patients and their caregivers in the management of prophylaxis itself. Ultrasonography (US) monitoring of the joints will be an integral part of patient management. US in the hemophilic patient will be carried out through the study of the index joints, elbows, knees and ankles, performed on specific scanning planes in order to get the most information possible on the joint itself and on the surrounding structures. |
