Descrizione sintetica in italiano The objective of the research activity of this project is to study sparse signal processing and statistical inference algorithms for novel energy-efficient communication and localization algorithms in Internet of Things and Cyber-Physical Systems. Studies on the theoretical limits for sparse signals acquisition by the technique known as compressed sensing will be conducted. In particular, the probability that measurement matrices from Gaussian ensemble permit the recovery of sparse signals from a number of measurements much less than its dimension will be investigated both theoretically and by means of simulation.
