| Descrizione sintetica in italiano | The aim of the research is the development of a high information and semantic content able to guarantee forms of representation at different levels of detail. Phases Step 1 - months 1-6: identification of typologically significant and representative cases of a 'cultural asset of architectural interest'; photomelling pipeline test; extraction of information related to the formal characteristics of the architectural elements. Step 2 - months 7-12: definition of the procedural algorithms for modeling and optimization of 3D data. Results The project will result in: - guidelines for the automatic or semi-automatic 3D acquisition / modeling procedure of reality-based data - procedural algorithms for parametric modeling of architectural elements - production of 3D models with a semantic structure. - creation of prototype / draft models of 3D models |
| Descrizione sintetica in inglese | The project is aimed at the construction of a methodological framework and a technologically advanced framework aimed at the acquisition, definition of procedures for the extraction of information related to the morphology of the architectural elements, processing of 3D modeling algorithms from reality-based data. The project intends to implement applications in the fields of: 1. Systems and methods of acquisition / 3D modeling, on an automatic or semi-automatic basis (3D reconstruction from photographs or videos, etc. ...); 2. Techniques and tools of 3D modeling on a procedural basis; 3. Methodological aspects for the representation of reconstructed models. |
