| Descrizione sintetica in italiano | Based on the existing literature, the collection of primary documents already available with the project coordinator and possible further research missions, the research fellow will elaborate a comparative synthesis of the negotiating strategies adopted by the US government vis-à-vis, respectively, Peru’s and Poland’s external debts from 1981 and 1987, with a focus both on international diplomacy and on the relations between the US government and the private banks involved |
