| Descrizione sintetica in italiano | The main aim of the project is to establish a transfer of knowledge in the relevant domains of vehicle concept modelling between complementary academic and industrial expertise The specific position involves participation in INTERACTIVE research tasks with a main focus on multi-domain concept modelling of vehicle body. Key enabling technologies such as information condensation, model reduction, interpretation of databases and ‘soft’ engineering experience from predecessor models will be studied and further enhanced. A specific objective is to extend available and new concept modelling techniques to the next generation of intelligent vehicles, where innovative materials, such as Shape Memory Alloys, lightweight materials, metal foams, act in parallel with electronic devices to enhance the system performance in terms of safety and comfort. |

Eligible candidates are those who, at the time of recruitment by the host organization, are already in possession of a doctoral degree or have at least 4 years (full-time equivalent) and no more than 10 years of research experience after obtaining the degree which formally entitles them to embark on a doctorate. Among others, the following eligibility criteria apply: - the researcher may be of any nationality; - at the time of recruitment, the researcher must not have resided or carried out her/his main activity in Italy for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to her/his recruitment under the project. |
