| Descrizione sintetica in italiano | the research activity will focus on the development of a calculation model for the design, management and optimization of the integration and interconnection between existing networks for distribution of electricity, thermal and cooling energy, electric mobility and fuel. Starting from the thermal distribution network, the calculation model will be able to identify the type, size and optimal configuration of the generation systems (electric and / or renewable or co-trigenerative) located to the users in order to transform the traditional thermal network in a smart type. The connection between networks will take place (i) by implementing load shifting strategies on "smart" charging stations for electric vehicles (ii) defining different exchange configurations between thermal network and distributed generators along it, (iii) introducing innovative storage systems and (iv) optimizing the production of cold. |
| Descrizione sintetica in inglese | The research project is aimed to the study and analysis of the techniques for the conversion of thermal and / or cooling energy distribution networks in smart networks. The project also envisages the development of control and management strategies for smart networks aimed at maximizing the exploitation of energy produced by non-programmable renewable generators. |
