| Descrizione sintetica in italiano | The activities are the followings: 1.the study and implementation of archival data relating to the heritage sites and buildings involved in the research. Within the SHELTER project the area of Santa Croce in Ravenna will be investigated. The area is subject to subsidence and frequent flooding.; 2.Collaboration to the activities of organization, management and processing of data emerged during the Workshop and Openlab; 3.Support for the studing of innovative and cost-effective strategies for the increasing of site resilience, reducing vulnerability to specific risks; 4.Support for drafting of protocols and guidelines for risk management based on Open Lab’s data; 5.Collaboration at the drafting of interdisciplinary programs for the protection, management and integrated use of the heritage, archaeological, architectural and landscape. The researcher will be involved in the activities related to the other ongoing EU projects a in which the research group is engaged. |
| Descrizione sintetica in inglese | The historical built heritage, for some time now, has been endangered by sudden and violent climate change and by its inevitable but necessary modification and transformation. Currently, policies to protect cultural heritage from such risks remain fragmented, while efforts to learn from heritage itself about ways and strategies to implement its resilience appear ineffective. The same historical areas with their consistency are testimony of their ability to adapt to the change induced by man or natural phenomena, even the sudden ones. The research projects involving multidisciplinary UNIBO research teams, first and foremost SHELTER (but also HC UNINET), are aimed at defining shared strategies for the protection of the built historical heritage and the improvement of resilience also in terms of prevention. These researches focuses on significant case studies of diachronic areas and buildings affected by conservation issues and different uses. |
