| Descrizione sintetica in italiano | The general aim of research is to harmonize cultivation practices, in the field and in a controlled environment, for food production with the growing demand for energy supply and the need to dispose of the residual biomass derived from the value chain of the sector through eco-friendly technological solutions. The candidate will be expected to perform: Monitoring activities and analysis of the main mechanization worksites of herbaceous and tree species. Use of software for the analysis of the energy efficiency of the machines; Granulometric characterization of lingo-cellulosic biomass; Physical analysis and determination of the energy content of ligno-cellulosic biomasses, with laboratory tests, using Mahler's Bomb, to evaluate the calorific value of biomasses, in particular of Arundo Donax, Thistle, Poplar; Statistical analysis of collected data |
