| Descrizione sintetica in inglese | The Internet of Things (IoT) is everywhere and it is fostering novel applications in several domains. The goal of the IoT is to transform huge amounts of data into knowledge that can be used for the common benefit, however, due to the extreme variety of standards and architectures, such data is often unusable by other parties. This happens in contexts that are crucial for innovation, such as Smart Cities, Smart Energy and Industry 4.0. For such reasons, the research will deal with the possibility of building interoperable toolchains that will make possible the integration of components in order to (1) support the engineering process of industrial artifacts and (2) support the data gathering and processing within the field of Collaborative IoT and the edge analytics. The goal of the projects aims to prototype solutions in the form of a framework within the IoT use cases that could make the most out of such public collective awareness within the European project Arrowhead Tools. |
