| Descrizione sintetica in inglese | This project is part of a research regarding the solid phase synthesis of peptides with pharmacological activity. The activities will focus in particular on the extension of protocols on peptide fragments of variable length. In fact, it will be verified whether the optimal conditions designed to reduce the use of reprotoxic solvents, replacing them with environmentally friendly and economically advantageous ones, are applicable to the preparation of variable length peptides (up to 15 residues). Furthermore, it will be verified whether these conditions are applicable to all coupling reagents and to all synthesis techniques. Each step must be evaluated both for the yield obtained and for the reaction rate, for the purity of the products obtained and the ease of isolation of the desired product. The comparison of the results will allow to determine the general applicability of the protocols identified to peptides of pharmaceutical interest. |
