| Descrizione sintetica in italiano | The Research Result Development Project has a twofold objective. First, it aims to increase the level of technological maturity of the proposed Solution from the TRL3 (Proof of Concept) stage to TRL5 (Technology validated in relevant environment). In parallel, the Project aspires to achieve greater awareness of the Solution vis-à-vis the market, assessment of its interest and promotion within a specific market segment (to be identified) in order to evolve its commercial maturity level from CRL1 (Market Awareness) to CRL4 (Value Proposition). During the Project, special emphasis will be placed on the development and testing activities of the IoT module, the operation of which has been verified during the research but has not yet been demonstrated in an operational environment. |
| Descrizione sintetica in inglese | The Research Project was created to respond to the problems outlined and place their solutions in the broader context of the digitization of the AECO sector. Specifically, it takes the form of a Digital Twin (DT) type digital ecosystem aimed at decision support in energy-aware building occupancy planning. By integrating various types of data from different sources and technologies, such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), Building Performance Simulation (BPS), and Internet of Things (IoT), this digital twin enables the generation of knowledge about the administered asset to guide its use toward the goal of "Energy-flexible Building," that is, a building capable of calibrating service delivery to the actual needs of the occupants who populate it and those of management optimization of its administrators by adopting demand-driven strategies. |
