| Descrizione sintetica in italiano | The activity plan is organized into the following phases: - analysis of the state of the art on current methods of treatment, conservation and analysis of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and particulate matter (POC), and of scientific publications; - treatment, conservation and preparation, analysis of POC and DOC in samples taken from the marine coastal area influenced by the inputs of the Po River; - statistical data treatment with reference to DOC and POC data using R software or other software; - preparation of collected DOC and POC data, as well as climate and hydrological data, and their integration into an archiving and publication system of observational data; - Participation in project meetings and coordination with other units; - Participation in drafting the project reports and deliverables; The fellow will be encouraged to write articles and present results at scientific conferences also in collaboration with the partners of the LIFE-Po project. |
| Descrizione sintetica in inglese | The Research Project will be part of the activities of the project’LIFE-Po Climate change information, monitoring and management tools for adaptation in Adriatic coastal areas’. The specific objective of the research project is focused on the dynamics of dissolved (DOC) and particulate organic carbon (POC) in the marine coastal area influenced by the Po River. The specific research activity is part of LIFE-Po project, with the aim of: a) analyzing the content of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and particulate organic carbon (POC) in the coastal marine coastal area influenced by the Po river with particular reference to that of Emilia-Romagna, b) analyze the dynamics of DOC and POC in relation to the chemical-physical and biological parameters of the water column, the climatic ones, and the hydrodynamic regime, c) contribute to integrating the data collected in an archiving and publishing system of observational data. |
