| Descrizione sintetica in italiano | Le attività dell’assegnista di ricerca comporteranno la ricerca sulla variabilità genetica per l’associazione del riso con batteri endofitici promotori della crescita (PGPB). Queste saranno condotte su una collezione di risi selvatici (O. rufipogon e O. nivara) e su linee di introgressione di O. rufipogon nel background genetico di O. sativa. Verranno ricercati loci genetici dei risi selvatici che influenzano l’associazione con PGPB e geni candidati per tali funzioni. Verrà anche verificato l’effetto degli inoculi con PGPB sul microbiota del suolo. | Descrizione sintetica in inglese | Activities of the research fellow will imply research on the genetic variability for rice association with endophytic plant growth promoting bacteria (PGPB). Activities will be conducted on a collection of wild rice (O. rufipogon e O. nivara) and on introgression lines of O. rufipogon in the O. sativa genetic background. Will be searched genetic loci of wild rice affecting association with PGPB and candidate genes for such functions. Also, the effect of PGPB inoculum on soil microbiota will be verified.
