| Descrizione sintetica in italiano | The research will investigate from an archeological and gender-oriented perspective the emergence of professionalism and the workist paradigm in Italian textual sources, from the 1890s to the early 1930s. Different sets of sources will be analysed by the project team. The researcher to be recruited will scrutinize Italian religiously-inspired publications and journals (c. 1890-1930) hosting debate on professional duties and professional guidance for young male and female students in different fields. Journals as “La civiltà cattolica”, “Studium” and publications promoted by the Fondazione Universitari Cattolici Italiani will be taken into account. Relevant untapped documentation stored in the FUCI archives will be also explored, in collaboration with the current project of digitalisation and indexing promoted by FUCI itself. Active support to the planning of workshops and the International Winter School organized in the framework of the project is expected. |
