| Descrizione sintetica in italiano | L’assegnista dovrà svolgere attività di ricerca sulla documentazione primaria dell’archivio dell’ANVCG custodito presso l’Università di Siena al fine di tracciare un quadro dei processi e delle conseguenze della vittimizzazione delle donne nel secondo conflitto mondiale con uno stretto confronto con la storiografia di genere. Il contributo dovrà essere pubblicato in forma di monografia. |
| Descrizione sintetica in inglese | The research fellow will conduct research on the primary documentation of the ANVCG archive housed at the University of Siena in order to outline the processes and consequences of the victimisation of women during the Second World War, which will be published in the form of a monograph. Particular emphasis should be placed on the relationship with gender historiography. Furthermore, the research should specifically include the analysis of the methods and evolution of the processes of female victimization, starting from case studies such as, among others, victims of sexual violence, mutilations resulting from acts of war, widows of fallen civilians, loss of children, and loss of other loved ones. It should consider the social, economic, and emotional repercussions emerging from the documentation and link them to the compensation claims for war damage made by civilians during and after the Second World War. |
