| Descrizione sintetica in italiano | The project will comparatively investigate distinct, national trajectories of constitutional change, and, more importantly, the different forms of constitutional politics and shifting perceptions regarding constitutionalism in a number of European countries, by focussing on a small but significant number of case-studies. In this, the project has two main objectives: 1. the development of an innovative theoretical approach and framework for the analysis of constitutional politics and constitutional change in the European context; and 2. the application of the theoretical framework in a comparative, in-depth analysis of four case-studies regarding constitutional contestation and change in Europe (namely, Iceland, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Hungary). |
