Descrizione sintetica in italiano | The activity concerns the application of methods for the evaluation of seismic fragility curves of small span steel-concrete composite bridges (SCC). In particular, both numerical and analytical methods will be adopted considering proper Engineering Demand parameters and Damage measures. Several case studies, selected within the European Research Program SEQBRI, will be analyzed and their fragility curves will be carried out. At this end suitable numerical models will be used to better simulate non-linear phenomena both into the piers and deck, including possible damage states in steel girders and concrete slab belonging to the deck. This activity will be developed within the Performance-Based earthquake engineering framework for the evaluation of the seismic risk of SCC bridges. |
