| Descrizione sintetica in italiano | The project aims at adopting an integrate research framework which targets both the evaluation of the threats posed to the archaeological landscape and the preservation and dissemination of the archaeological data channeled into the black market. In this case, it is deemed fundamental to create synergies between the university and the private and public sectors in order to transform the cultural heritage into a public and scientific resource. The archaeological materials donated by Monsignor Ancarani provide the basis to enhance the collection of the Archaeological Civic Museum of Bologna, by adding a significant bulk of near-eastern finds to the Egyptian collection of the museum. We aim at promoting the study of the collection through filing of the objects, publication of a catalogue, and the organization of the display of the finds within the museum. The work will also be made public online through the creation of a dedicated website. |
