Descrizione sintetica in italiano | The activity is focused on the study, design, and assessment of innovative interference management techniques for for broadband and broadcast satellite communications systems. Target applications include, but are not necessarily limited to, satellite systems for broadband communications, mobile services, machine to machine applications. Design, analysis, and performance assessment of interference management techniques in different scenarios will be based on both theoretical and numerical simulation approaches. The main focus is on the design and assessment of parameter synchronization and channel estimation for interference management techniques in single and multiple satellites systems, as well as the end-to-end evaluation of the selected interference management techniques considering synchronization and estimation algorithms. The candidates shall have a background on ICT engineering with focus on Communications theory. Knowledge of C++ and matlab programming is a pre-requisite. |
