| Descrizione sintetica in italiano | The project aims at developing, testing and validating a number of investigation methodologies specifically tailored on the Archaeological Architecture. Such complex and integrated activity will imply the direct involvement of different specialists (survey, representation, archaeology, restoration, communication, management, etc.) coming from different Departments and SSD within Sapienza University. Additional support will also come from the research networks provided by the PI and each single participant so that also other Italian and European research institutions, public administration and association will take part to the research. In order to optimize efforts and resources, investigations will mainly concentrate on Roman architecture trying to apply the same methodology to very famous buildings as well as to “minor” settlements. |
