Descrizione sintetica in italiano | This PhD position is part of ANTARES project, which aims to develop a new holistic approach for the design of smart systems for extracting as much energy available from ambient vibrations, developing novel energy efficient transducers, developing novel self-powered active vibration control systems. This PhD position aims at investigating the use of electromagnetic rotational transducers to effectively absorb ambient vibration energy. The project will involve both theoretical and experimental work. The project is highly multi-disciplinary and strongly linked to other research topics of ANTARES. The fellow will be supervised by Prof. Paolo Gardonio (http://people.uniud.it/page/paolo.gardonio email paolo.gardonio@uniud.it) and will be hired on a contract for 36 months.
