| Descrizione sintetica in italiano | Il progetto PLA-STEER (G.A. 101165466) offre a un giovane ricercatore nell’ambito della teoria dei giochi algoritmica e dell’apprendimento online l’opportunità di lavorare con il Prof. Celli, sviluppando competenze chiave e accedendo alle reti di ricerca del centro BIDSA e del Dipartimento di Computing Sciences. L’obiettivo è studiare sistemi in cui più algoritmi di machine learning interagiscono su piattaforme condivise, analizzandone il comportamento e costruendo basi teoriche per nuovi meccanismi di coordinamento tra agenti di apprendimento. Il candidato contribuirà attivamente alla ricerca, partecipando a gruppi di lettura, pubblicando articoli scientifici, presentando risultati in conferenze e collaborando con altri istituti. L’attività sarà interdisciplinare, focalizzata sull’integrazione tra apprendimento online, teoria dei giochi e ottimizzazione per sviluppare soluzioni a problemi complessi. |
| Descrizione sintetica in inglese | The PLA-STEER project (G.A. 101165466) offers a young researcher in algorithmic game theory and online learning the opportunity to work with Prof. Celli, developing key skills and gaining access to the research networks of the BIDSA center and the Department of Computing Sciences. The project focuses on studying systems where multiple machine learning algorithms interact on shared platforms, aiming to characterize their behavior and build theoretical foundations for new mechanisms to coordinate learning agents. The selected candidate will actively contribute to the research agenda by participating in reading groups, publishing scientific papers, presenting results at conferences, and collaborating with researchers from other institutions. The work will be interdisciplinary, at the intersection of online learning, algorithmic game theory, and optimization, with a focus on developing solutions to complex problems. |
