Descrizione sintetica in inglese	The activities of the RTDb researcher will focus on the agricultural and food policy sector with particular reference to the quantification and analisys of losses and waste along the food chain. Research will include the analysis of environmental, economic, nutritional and social impacts and the identification of methodological and policy tools aimed at reducing food losses and waste. Losses and waste will be analyzed on the basis of the nexus between food, water and energy through a multidisciplinary approach focused on the identification of tools for a sustainable and integrated management of the resources and of the territory. The activities will not be limited to national case studies, but will be based on a comparative approach with European and extra-European cases.
