Descrizione sintetica in inglese	FIELDS: System identification, machine learning, control systems RESEARCH AREA: Computer Science and Application FORMAL REQUIREMENTS: PhD in Engineering or mathematics or in related areas. An excellent level of both written and spoken English is mandatory SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: At least three years of postdoctoral research experience, with a focus on control and optimization. The successful candidate will be interested in both theoretical research and in applications to practical problems. Research experience is expected in the area of system identification (theory and algorithms) and machine learning. The successful is expected to interact in research issues at the boundaries of system identification/machine learning, advanced optimization methods, and model predictive control. TYPE OF CONTRACT: Fixed-Term Researcher (Ricercatore a Tempo Determinato (l. 240/2010 art 24, c 3 a)) DURATION: 3 years, renewable for a maximum of 5 total years
