Descrizione del bando in italiano	Attività di ricerca previste e relative modalità di esercizio Il ricercatore sarà chiamato a svolgere attività di ricerca nell’ambito della microbiologia e delle malattie infettive degli animali domestici, con particolare riferimento all’isolamento e alla caratterizzazione, con metodologie classiche e molecolari, di microrganismi animali. Al ricercatore sono richieste specifiche competenze nell’ambito delle metodiche biomolecolari, ivi compresa l’analisi dei dati con moderni strumenti bioinformatici. Attività di didattica, di didattica integrativa e di servizio agli studenti e relative modalità di esercizio Il ricercatore sarà chiamato a svolgere attività didattica (attività teorico-pratiche, esercitazioni e attività di laboratorio, attività di tutorato agli studenti) in insegnamenti appartenenti al settore scientifico-disciplinare sulla base della programmazione didattica del dipartimento. L’attività didattica frontale sarà assegnata al ricercatore annualmente dal Dipartimento sulla base di specifiche esigenze del settore scientifico-disciplinare. Specifiche funzioni che il ricercatore è chiamato a svolgere Il ricercatore dovrà essere in grado di condurre attività di ricerca, anche in modo autonomo, nell’ambito delle linee che caratterizzano il settore scientifico-disciplinare VET/05 – Malattie infettive degli animali domestici. Lingua straniera la cui adeguata conoscenza sarà oggetto di accertamento mediante prova orale Inglese. Il candidato potrà chiedere di svolgere la discussione dei titoli e della produzione scientifica in lingua inglese. Per i candidati stranieri è richiesta la conoscenza della lingua italiana Numero massimo di pubblicazioni 12 (dodici) ivi compresa la tesi di dottorato se presentata
Descrizione del bando in inglese	Research activities and the manner of exercise The researcher will be expected to carry out research activity in the field of microbiology and infectious diseases of domestic animals, focusing mainly on the isolation and the characterization of animal microorganisms either by classical and molecular procedures. The researcher is required to be experienced especially in biomolecular methodologies, including data analysis with advanced bioinformatics tools Teaching activities, supplementary teaching and service to students and their mode of exercise The researcher is expected to perform teaching activity (frontal and practical activities, hands-on and laboratory activities, undergraduate student tutoring) in classes belonging to the scientific-disciplinary sector on the basis of the teaching plan of the Department. Frontal lectures will be assigned by the Department yearly on the basis of specific needs of the scientific-disciplinary sector Specific functions that the researcher has to perform The researcher is expected to carry out research activity, also autonomously, within the research fields of the scientific-disciplinary sector VET/05 - Infectious diseases of domestic animals Foreign language whose appropriate knowledge will be ascertained by an oral exam English. The applicant may request to carry out the discussion of qualifications and scientific production in English. Foreign applicants are required to know the Italian language Maximum number of publications presentable 12 (twelve) including Ph.D. thesis, when presented
