Descrizione sintetica in italiano	Svolgimento di attività di ricerca nell’ambito del progetto “CrisisLab - Sviluppo di un laboratorio e di un sistema di piattaforme integrate di raccolta e di analisi dei dati sulla prevenzione e la gestione delle crisi nei sistemi economico-sociali” finanziato nell’ambito del Programma Nazionale della Ricerca 2011-2013, e in particolare nelle seguenti tematiche: “the modeling of demographic dynamics, the economic consequences and the risks connected to ageing for governments, financial institutions and indviduals”; attività di tutoraggio e supervisione degli allievi di dottorato; partecipazione allo sviluppo delle attività istituzionali della Scuola.
Descrizione sintetica in inglese	The position involves research in the context of scientific tasks in the framework of the funded project CRISISLAB, in particular the modeling of demographic dynamics, the economic consequences and the risks connected to ageing for governments, financial institutions and indviduals; tutorship and mentoring of the Institute's Ph.D. students; limited teaching; participation in the development of the Institute's research activities.

PhD in Economics or in a related field. The candidate must have a curriculum with a suitable scientific background for carrying out research activity in the required field. Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken.

Requisiti specifici in inglese

programming skills, strong mathematical skills will be required, and candidates' knowledge will be evaluated specifically regarding: background in actuarial science, stochastic processes for finance and insurance, financial mathematics; • previous research work in the domain of actuarial science, pensions or finance; • Knowledge of MatLab. The candidate should also be willing to work in an interdisciplinary environment and to collaborate in an international team.
