Descrizione sintetica in italiano	La ricerca si pone tra i principali obiettivi l’individuare e analizzare, attraverso casi specifici, i nodi tematici e le problematiche che contraddistinguono l'architettura del Novecento, attraverso un’indagine intorno a temi e protagonisti che hanno segnato le vicende dell’architettura di tale periodo. Il candidato deve documentare familiarità con i metodi e le tecniche di analisi delle opere architettoniche, consapevolezza dei processi costruttivi nonché delle interazioni tra le ricerche architettoniche, artistiche e letterarie in un contesto culturale e storico in continua trasformazione
Descrizione sintetica in inglese	Subject of the Research: Among the main aims of the research are the identification and analysis, using specific examples, of the main problems and subjects that distinguish 20th century architecture, by means of an investigation of the themes and protagonists who have had the most marked influence on the progress of architecture in that period. The candidate must demonstrate a familiarity with the methods and techniques of analysis of works of architecture, an awareness of the techniques of construction as well as the interaction between architectural, artistic and literary movements within a cultural and historical context in continuous change
