Descrizione del bando in italiano	Le/I candidate/i, in possesso dei requisiti precisati all’art. 2 saranno valutati sulla base della corrispondenza tra la proposta progettuale formulata e le esigenze didattiche, di ricerca e/o di terza missione del Dipartimento di seguito precisati: Le esigenze di ricerca e didattica sono quelle relative all’ambito socio-economico delle Scienze Statistiche. In particolare, per la didattica l’interesse è focalizzato su insegnamenti relativi ad applicazioni di indagini campionarie - anche di natura longitudinale, alla qualità dei dati, nonché alle modellistiche per dati di natura categoriale. Relativamente alla ricerca specifico interesse è rivolto alla analisi statistica e ai modelli di comportamento relativi ai sistemi educativi di secondo e terzo livello, e alla valutazione delle performance degli studenti e del sistema educativo nel suo complesso. La proposta progettuale, pertanto, dovrà essere finalizzata allo sviluppo di tali linee di ricerca dipartimentali, con proposte originali per l’utilizzo e l’integrazione di specifiche basi di dati longitudinali istituzionali. Inoltre, tale attività di ricerca dovrà trovare adeguata ricaduta sulla didattica, in particolare nell’ambito delle Lauree magistrali.
Descrizione del bando in inglese	The candidates, in possession of the requirements specified in art. 2 will be evaluated on the basis of the correspondence between the project proposal formulated and the teaching, research and/or third mission needs of the Department specified below: The research and teaching needs are those related to the socio-economic field of Statistics. In particular, for teaching the interest is focused on applications of sample surveys - also of a longitudinal nature, to data quality, as well as to modelling for categorical data. With regard to research, specific interest is directed to the statistical analysis and behavioural models relating to second and third level educational systems, and to the evaluation of student performance and of the educational system as a whole. The project proposal, therefore, must be aimed at the development of these departmental research lines, with original proposals for the use and integration of specific institutional longitudinal databases. Furthermore, this research activity will have to find an adequate impact on teaching, in particular in the context of master's degrees. The projects admitted to the selection will be evaluated according to the following indications: In the first session, the Commission carefully evaluates the congruence of the project proposals with the disciplinary scientific sector covered by the announcement, as well as with the teaching, research and/or third mission needs defined above. The evaluations of the admitted projects will be carried out on the basis of the following general criteria, which may be integrated and further detailed by the Commission in the first session: a. originality, innovation, methodological rigor and relevance of the project itself; b. level of scientific qualification and competence already acquired by the candidate in the disciplinary field concerned, documented by the curriculum, and relative adequacy with respect to the project proposal presented; c. analytical evaluation of qualifications and scientific production with particular regard to the impact and dissemination on the reference scientific community and its international relevance. The project proposal presented will also be evaluated in line with the qualifications held and the scientific production of the candidates.
