Descrizione sintetica in italiano	Sono ammessi a partecipare alla selezione i candidati italiani e stranieri che sono in possesso dei seguenti requisiti: a) studiosi in possesso dell’ASN ai sensi dell’art. 16 della Legge n. 240/2010 e s.m.i. per il Settore Concorsuale, ovvero per uno dei Settori ricompresi nel medesimo Macrosettore, e per le funzioni oggetto del procedimento; b) candidati che abbiano conseguito l’idoneità ai sensi della Legge 3 luglio 1998, n. 210 e s.m.i. per la fascia corrispondente a quella per la quale viene emanato il bando, limitatamente al periodo di durata della stessa; c) professori di prima fascia già in servizio; d) studiosi stabilmente impegnati all’estero in attività di ricerca o insegnamento a livello universitario in posizione di livello pari a quella oggetto del bando, sulla base di tabelle di corrispondenza definite dal D.M. 1 settembre 2016, n. 662. Descrizione sintetica in inglese	The following qualifications are required to apply for the position: a)Academics possessing the national scientific qualification in the Job Application Sector cited below (see art. 16 of Law 240/2010 and any subsequent modifications) or in one included in the same macro-sector, for the functions entailed in the application procedure; b)Candidates who meet the requirements under Law 210/1998 and any subsequent modifications, for the category listed in the job notice, limited to the period of time indicated in the notice; c)Full professors who are already employed; d)Academics permanently employed abroad as researchers or university lecturers at a similar level to that indicated in the job notice, based on correspondence tables defined by ministerial decree 662 of 01/09/2016. Descrizione del bando in italiano	ELEMENTI DI QUALIFICAZIONE DIDATTICA E SCIENTIFICA: Consolidata esperienza didattica nelle discipline pertinenti il Settore Scientifico Disciplinare BIO/19. Documentata attività di ricerca e piena autonomia scientifica nell’ambito del Settore Scientifico Disciplinare BIO/19 con particolare riguardo, in via esemplificativa e non esaustiva, allo studio dei meccanismi di resistenza e di azione di antibiotici attivi contro batteri patogeni polmonari. SPECIFICHE FUNZIONI CHE IL PROFESSORE DOVRA’ SVOLGERE: Il docente svolgerà compiti didattici riferiti al SSD BIO/19 nei corsi di Laurea Triennale in Scienze Biologiche e in Biotecnologie e di Lauree Magistrali nella classe Biologia, in Biotecnologie Avanzate e in Ingegneria per l’Ambiente e il Territorio. Il docente svolgerà attività di ricerca coerente e congruente con le tematiche del SSD BIO/19 e, in via esemplificativa e non esaustiva, contribuirà allo studio dell’antibiotico-resistenza microbica mediante la caratterizzazione del meccanismo di azione di nuovi antibatterici. Il docente organizzerà gruppi di ricerca locali ed internazionali e coordinerà e supervisionerà dottorandi di ricerca e assegnisti di ricerca.
Descrizione del bando in inglese	TEACHING AND RESEARCH QUALIFICATIONS Consolidated teaching experience in disciplines pertinent to the Scientific Disciplinary Sector BIO/19. Documented research activity and full scientific autonomy within the Scientific Disciplinary Sector BIO/19 with particular regard, by way of example and without limitation, to the study of the mechanisms of resistance and action of drugs active against pathogenic lung bacteria. EXPECTED DUTIES OF THE APPOINTEE The professor will carry out teaching tasks related to the SSD BIO/19 in the Bachelor's Degree courses in Biological Sciences and Biotechnology and Master's Degrees in the Biology class, in Advanced Biotechnology and in Engineering for the Environment and the Territory. The professor will carry out coherent and congruent research activities with the disciplines of the SSD BIO/19 and, by way of example and without limitation, will contribute to the study of the microbial drug resistance by the characterization of the mechanism of action of new antibacterials. The professor will organize local and international research groups and will coordinate and supervise PhD students and post-DOC researchers.
